Radiographic testing (RT) film interpretation is the process of analyzing a shadow image on a radiograph to identify internal and external discontinuities or defects in a test object, such as a weld or casting.
QA/ QC personnel/ NDT Level-1 in RT is preferred.
- Accurate defect detection: Learn to differentiate between various types of defects, such as porosity, cracks, and inclusions, which is critical for quality assurance and material integrity.
Enhanced quality control: Gain the knowledge to interpret radiographs and determine if a product meets quality standards, ensuring the safety and reliability of welds and materials in critical applications.
Advanced technique knowledge: Acquire skills in selecting and applying the correct radiographic techniques for different materials and scenarios, as well as understanding the advantages and limitations of various methods.
- Review of different films and different flaws for a comprehensive understanding.
