RT Film Interpretation

This course helps in detail to understand and read from the RT films to detect any flaws

Program Details

Radiographic testing (RT) film interpretation is the process of analyzing a shadow image on a radiograph to identify internal and external discontinuities or defects in a test object, such as a weld or casting.

QA/ QC personnel/ NDT Level-1 in RT is preferred.

  • Accurate defect detection: Learn to differentiate between various types of defects, such as porosity, cracks, and inclusions, which is critical for quality assurance and material integrity. Enhanced quality control: Gain the knowledge to interpret radiographs and determine if a product meets quality standards, ensuring the safety and reliability of welds and materials in critical applications. Advanced technique knowledge: Acquire skills in selecting and applying the correct radiographic techniques for different materials and scenarios, as well as understanding the advantages and limitations of various methods.
  • Review of different films and different flaws for a comprehensive understanding.
